Founder and Executive Director
Dessinae Houston is a doctoral student in Educational Leadership in Health and Human Services and a dedicated public servant with extensive experience in youth advocacy, housing stability, and community development. Her research, "Reentering in a Digital World: Technology, Education, and Stability for Justice-Involved Youth," serves as the foundation for H.U.G.S.
As a mother and community leader, Dessinae brings both professional expertise and personal commitment to her mission of restoring opportunity and dignity to justice-involved youth.
